PDP Reacts The Death Of Emir Of Kano Alhaji Ado Bayero

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) received the news on o, with deep sadness and great shock.

According to the statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the ruling party, Olisa Metuh, this day will be remembered as the day of loss of a great leader and uncommon personality.
The PDP described the late Emir as a legend, who contributed a lot in bringing stability, development and unity in both local and nationwide dimensions.

The statement noted that Ado Bayero “personified dignity and finesses” and was an excellent administrator and entrepreneur, who played key roles towards development of Nigeria in political and economic aspects. The highly-respected Emir was an example of good governance, did a lot for democracy in Nigeria.
“We mourn with our National Chairman, Ahmadu Adamu Muazu CON, as he grieves for the loss of his adoptive father, the Emir, who nurtured him and many other prominent Nigerians to greatness. Indeed, we are particularly pained that the Emir left us at a time like this when his wealth of experience, valuable fatherly advise and guidance are needed the most,” the statement added.
The ruling party have also condoled with the Bayero family, with the Kano Emirate, the people of Kano state and the entire nation for the huge loss.
The longest-serving emir in Kano's history passed away in the early hours of June 6, 2014, Friday, at the age of 83.
The news on Ado Bayero's death were deeply , ex Vice President , ex FCT Minister Malam Nasir El-Rufai, renowned Islamic preacher and scholar  Islamic preacher Dr Ahmad Abubakar Mahmud Gumi and for millions of Nigerians.
The Governor of Kano Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, emirs, dignitaries and politicians, as well as thousands of people from across the country are attending the burial ceremony.
